Electrical Apprenticeships in Massachusetts
Massachusetts law defines an apprentice agreement as a written agreement between an apprentice and a program sponsor, registered with the Division of Apprentice Standards, that provides for at least 2,000 hours of reasonably continuous employment in the occupation. The agreement must also provide at least 150 hours per year of related instruction or, for licensed occupations, the instruction required by the licensing regulations.
When comparing electrical programs, verify the occupation, sponsor, employer, work area, classroom schedule, wage progression, costs, eligibility rules, and application process.
