Electrical Trade Schools in New York
The New York State Department of Labor describes apprenticeship as on-the-job training under experienced workers combined with related classroom training. It says that related instruction may take place at a trade school, community college, BOCES, or through distance learning or virtual training.
When comparing electrical education, ask how the curriculum, schedule, and hands-on practice fit your goals and whether the provider connects students with an employer or apprenticeship sponsor.
